The next closest airport to Hamilton is Albany, NY (ALB) which is approx a two hour drive from the house. Albany is served by American, Delta, United, Jet Blue and Southwest.
NEW YORK CITY (EWR, LGA, JFK):
It is a 4.5 to 5 hour drive to all of the major airports that serve New York City. If you are tying a weekend in upstate with a trip to NYC just be cognisant of the traffic leaving NYC on holiday weekends is ridiculous as many NYC residents escape for the weekend to second homes within 3 hours of NYC.
